Ways to Donate
You are important to people with disabilities who depend on Opportunity Village. The Village relies on private gifts to maintain and improve our services, facilities, and equipment. Your donation means the difference between bare-bones services and the kind of caring, meaningful lives we want to provide for the people we serve.
Financial support for the Village can take many forms:
- Memorials or "in honor" gifts
- Planned giving (bequests, gift annuities, insurance)
- Gifts of assets (real estate, stock, other property
- One-time or regular contributions
Funds from government sources are increasingly limited, so the Village relies on private donations to make up the difference between tightly-controlled fees and the actual costs of services. We estimate it takes an additional $1,100 per person served per year to close that gap. That money comes from private gifts and from sales at the Village General Store.
Opportunity Village is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so your gift may qualify for tax deduction.
