Walk-A-Block raises $6,500 for Children's Autism Center

Almost $6,500 was raised for the Opportunity Village Children's Autism Center through the third annual J. Brooks Walk-A-Block for autism advocacy. The event was held April 2 at City Park in Clear Lake.

The walk was preceded by a resource fair, held in the Lakeview Room located just behind the municipal band shell. It was followed by a balloon release at the Sea Wall.

Opportunity Village Children's Autism Center staff would like to thank Village friends and family for the support offered through donations and walk participation. All proceeds will go toward services provided to children with autism and their families by OVCAC staff.
