Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 brought together friends, family, staff, and supporters, combining two great events in two communities where you helped raise funds and awareness for Opportunity Village.
Under beautiful skies and accompanied by picture-perfect weather, the Opportunity Village family raised approximately $80,000 at the 47th annual Benefit Walk. In addition to the walk, friends and family gathered to enjoy a special Appreciation Picnic, held prior to the walk. This was the first year the two events were held in tandem.
All funds raised from the walk will be used for support, education and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
Thank you again to all the teams that participated, and staff members who made phone calls and created FirstGiving pages. Thank you to those who volunteered the day of the event and everyone who helped make the event a success.
