You can help improve the lives of people with disabilities by getting involved at Opportunity Village. Whether you choose to make a financial contribution, donate your time and talents, or become a special friend, you can feel good about reaching out to others.

DONATIONS
Opportunity Village depends on private gifts to improve our services, facilities and equipment. Your donation means the difference between bare-bones services and the kind of caring, meaningful lives we want to provide for the people we serve. Financial support for the Village can take many forms:

Memorials or "in honor" gifts
Planned giving (bequests, gift annuities, insurance)
Gifts of assets (real estate, stock, other property)
One-time or regular contributions

If you wish to make a donation to support Village services for people with disabilities, please make your check out to "Opportunity Village." You may mail your contribution to Opportunity Village, PO Box 622, Clear Lake, IA 50428.

Giving made easy

Now you can make a gift to Opportunity Village without having to write and mail a check.

Our new EasyGive monthly giving program offers a simple and convenient way to make regular monthly contributions to the Village that are posted to your credit card or bank account.

The Village is very grateful for each gift we receive, and we want to make it as simple as possible for you to support our services to people with disabilities. By giving through EasyGive, you eliminate Village costs for envelopes and postage, so an even greater portion of your gift will go towards supporting our mission. Since your gift is spread over the course of the year, you create a reliable base of support for Opportunity Village. You also may find you are able to give a more significant gift to the Village because your gift is divided into manageable monthly increments.

Automatic funds transfer is secure and convenient. Your monthly credit card or bank statement will clearly show how you have given, and your annual donations will be easy to track for tax purposes. You may change your pledge or quit at any time. You also might be able to take advantage of earning bonuses like Frequent Flier Miles through your credit card.

To participate, download our EasyGive form to print at home. Then decide how much you'd like to contribute to Opportunity Village each year. Fill out the form and mail it to us. Your pledge will be divided up over the next 12 months and posted to your bank or credit card in the second week of each month.

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers play a vital role in Village services. There are many opportunities available, with flexible hours to meet your interests and needs.
Some areas where volunteers are needed include:

Working at the Village General Store
Assisting clients in Village residences or work areas
Helping with special events such as the annual Festival of Trees
Lending expertise in your special talent
Much more!

PROGRAMS
Would you like to learn more about Opportunity Village? We'd love to come visit your group, church or school and speak about the Village services for people with disabilities.
Our program can include music by our Music Therapy Department, slides, a speaker or any combination to suit your needs. You're also welcome to visit Opportunity Village to meet some of the people who depend on our services and see first hand our daily activities.
