Financial Management Program
Northwoods Living, a service of Opportunity Village in Fort Dodge, offers Financial Management for individuals who receive Social Security payments or other government benefits but need assistance managing their money.NWL staff or volunteer payees assist clients in developing a monthly budget. This program offers security to individuals by helping them manage their money and live safely and independently in their own homes.
The program currently serves approximately 100 individuals in the Fort Dodge area. The client typically has a diagnosis of mental retardation or mental illness.
