Family of volunteers honored

Dorothy Callahan, Mary Coyle, Doris Boehnke, Vickie Swenson, and Larry Swenson were featured on Mason City, Iowa, television station KIMT for their volunteer support of Opportunity Village.

The siblings of Vickie, one of the early residents of the Village, have been volunteering together for almost 40 years, in gratitude for the Village's support of their sister.

KIMT chose them for a "Giving Your Best" segment, which highlights area residents who give back to their communities.  The family volunteers now at the Village General Store.
